Refund/Credit & Flight Policy

Every family upon signing an agreement/contract with our Organization has checked off a box that they have read and that they understand the refund/credit policy.  Every payment made to The Academy East Hockey League (AEHL), NEJLL, Tier I Hockey, or positional Tier I Goaltender camps is non-refundable.

Regarding Injury or Illness:

If ample time is given (60 business days prior to the official start of each program) then a full credit (not a refund) for the following “season or event” will be given knowing that the following “season or event” could be a year later.  If notice is given less than 60 business days prior to the official start of any and all programs we offer, then there will NOT be full credit for the following “season” unless a Doctor’s note is provided.  Please note – Our programs do not AGE-OUT.  What that means is that we work with and train student-athletes even if they are entering the NCAA the following year/season so the full credit, assuming the above is followed, also applies to those entering the NCAA.  ALL student-athletes are covered under their OWN insurance.  Every student-athlete knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for their participation.

Regarding Change of Plans, World Events, Life Events, Unforeseen Events, Events out of your control OR Conflict of any kind or for any reason:

If ample time is given (60 business days prior to the official start of each program) then a full credit (not a refund) for the following “season or event” will be given knowing that the following “season or event” could be a year later.  If notice is given less than 60 business days prior to the official start of any and all programs we offer, then there will NOT be full credit for the following “season” unless a note is provided by you explaining the “unforeseen” event. .  Please note – Our programs do not AGE-OUT.  What that means is that we work with and train student-athletes even if they are entering the NCAA the following year/season so the full credit, assuming the above is followed, also applies to those entering the NCAA.

SCHEDULING FLIGHTS TO AND FROM AEHL POLICY –

The Academy East Hockey League (AEHL) will inform an adult family member on when to be scheduling flights.  This will happen within a 40-calendar day window before the program starts to prevent any minor changes which leads to minor changes in flights.  Also, our coaching staff ONLY provides airport pickup and drop off from Boston Logan Airport.  Any student-athlete flying into a different airport or taking the train in, the student-athlete(s) will have to Uber themselves in OR Uber to Logan Airport for our staff to pick them up there.

Thank you for understanding this policy as we have been doing this for well over a decade and this works best from our experience.  Should you schedule your flight BEFORE the 40-calendar day window, you run the risk of having to make minor changes to your flight.

If you schedule a flight a day AFTER the program has concluded and need to stay an additional night through our contracted housing, there will be an additional fee of $100 (plus 3% transaction fee) to cover room and board.

Thank you
